This is the time of conservatism, conservation and thinking GREEN. There are lots of ways you can contribute to making or Earth a better place to live. Here are a few tips to making your home GREEN also….
1) Use Energy Star Appliances. These appliances need to meet strict guidelines, and as the name suggests they are more energy efficient.
2) Install solar paneling
3) Plant Native Vegetation. Not only are these plants easier to maintain, they require less water and fertilizer compared to non-native plants.
4) Add Energy Efficient Windows. This will not only reduce the heat inside your home during the warmers months. They will also help to keep the heat during the cooler months
