Gardening Can Be So Helpful

A day in the garden can be medicinal... for many reasons. It gets you out of the outdoors, into fresh air. It gets you away from the computer. It allows us to "stop working" for a bit and clear our minds. In addition, it lets us appreciate the cycle of a living thing. Plant a seed, water, nourish and make sure it is getting enough sun/shade. A few weeks, sometimes days later, you get a beautiful flower, or perhaps the beginning of a fruit or vegetable. You enjoy the product of the seed and then you start again. Life at it's simplest.
