NEWPORT BEACH
Newport Beach is probably one of the most popular cities to celebrate the 4th of July. So here is all the 4th of July information you need if you are celebrating in Newport Beach! Newport Beach encourages safe, fun, family-friendly celebrations. Those planning to spend the day at Corona Del Mar State Beach or Crystal Cove State Beach should plan for an early arrival time as the parking lots will fill quickly. In years past, crowds on the Balboa Peninsula have led the City to enact more stringent policies that will disband unruly parties and address rowdy behavior early in the day to help provide a more enjoyable holiday for everyone. Traffic going into the Balboa Peninsula will be heavily congested and traffic control measures will restrict that even further. Visitors to this area should arrive early in the day to find parking and a good spot on the beach. There are a number of community-oriented events that will occur over the holiday weekend such as the annual Independence Day Parade near Mariners Park (July 3) and the American Legion's Old Glory Boat Parade (July 4). Newport Beach is a great place to enjoy a beautiful sunset and then catch a spectacular fireworks show at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina.
