Columbus Day is a U.S. holiday that commemorates the landing of Christopher Columbus in the New World on October 12, 1492.
Since, the second Monday of every October is officially the holiday. Take a moment today and remember those adventurers that set out on a very dangerous journey to find what you now call your home.

If you were lucky to have the day off, I hope it was happy!
