Caruso’s President’s / Valentines Day Weekend: Compliments of The OC REG!



Can’t think of anything entertaining to do over Presidents’ / Valentines Day weekend that won’t cost an arm and a leg? Well, I just happened to stumble across this great article in the OC Register with suggestions that may be fun and very inexpensive. Hopefully these ideas will help boost some fun ones of your own, if not then all I can do is say enjoy the weekend and happy festivity finding!

SATURDAY, Feb. 13

30th anniversary celebration at the Woodbridge 5 discount cinemas in Irvine
Go to the free Getty Museum! Parking is $15 but free on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
California Science Center at Exposition Park is great for kids. The galleries are always free.
Get a free milkshake at Ruby’s Diner
Visit the International Surfing Museum in Huntington Beach
Participate in a dolphin monitoring science project for families
Free Civil War reenactment at Knott’s Berry Farm
Free admission and Valentine crafts at the Japanese American National Museum
SUNDAY, Feb. 14 (Oh yeah, it’s Valentine’s Day too)
Free fishing for kids at Dana Wharf. (Free clinic and then kids free on a fishing trip afterward)
Free admission Orange County Museum of Art and free activities for children
Free coupons here for LA Times travel show with free activities like scuba diving lessons

Visit the International Surfing Museum in Huntington Beach
