COSTA MESA
Come out and enjoy “Holiday Snow Land” Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Balearic Community Center. If the weather is cooperative, the event will have a real snow play area, arts and crafts and cookie decorating and so much more! NEWPORT BEACH
Newport residents took the time to remember Rob Grice, a chief operation officer of Newport Beach who was killed Sunday near Lake Elsinore. Our condolences go out to his loved ones and friends. May your soul and spirit live on through them, rest in peace.

ORANGE
The American Legion Post 132 is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner and dance beginning at 6 p.m. on December 31st. For reservations and information call 714-283-8660.


SANTA ANA
On Saturday, the Immaculate Heart of St. Mary Church will be celebrating the Feast of Our Lady Guadalupe. Dancing, music, parades, floats and much more will be featured. Come out and join. The festivities will be held at 5p.m. at Center Street and McFadden.


SEAL BEACH
At Saturday’s Breakfast with Santa, beginning at 8 a.m., the firefighters ‘Spark of Love’ will be collecting toys for the needy in hopes of giving them a brighter holiday season.
