SAN CLEMENTE
This Saturday April 10 is the 5th annual Garden Fest from 8am-4. Admission is free and will be held at the San Clemente Community Center. Admission is free. There will be a "funky container contest," a floral design contest, a plant sale, a garden flea market, guest speakers, a Junior Gardeners butterfly plant sale, a "pot a plant" workshop for kids, master gardeners available to answer questions and a garden-themed art show with San Clemente Artists demonstrating live. SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
From March 5-May 27, 2010 The San Juan Capistrano Library will be showcasing art work from locals around town. Karen Joy Jackson, a local photographer has a current exhibit at the library along with two other local artists Renuka Pillai and David Evans. Jackson's artwork will be exhibiting 10 photographs of the Greek Islands. The other two artists are oil painters. There is also an Architectural Walking Tour each Saturday morning because of its architectural awards. Other events will be scheduled in the future.
