Coming up Saturday, October 29, 2011 starting at 11am is the annual Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade. The Halloween Parade has been an Anaheim tradition since 1924, when baseball legend Babe Ruth was honored as the Grand Marshal of the celebration. The Fall Festival features game and food booths, live entertainment, craft fair, a children's costume contest and trick-or-treating. Food and craft booths are available for a nominal fee. BUENA PARK
Everyweek NOW through October 30th, 2011 is the Knotts Berry Farm 'Snoopy's Costume Party’! Pirate, witch, cowboy, angel? It’s that time of year to decide who you want to be. Knott’s invites you to dress to the nines in your Halloween finery and come to “Snoopy’s Costume Party” in Camp Spooky. This daytime, non-scare celebration, of cheer rather than fear, is the social event of the season with shows, activities and of course, trick-or-treating all geared for kids ages 3-11. Snoopy’s Costume Party runs weekends October 1-30 and is included with regular park admission. Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park operating hours are 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.

It’s almost that time of the year again! Coming up on Halloween, October 31st is the annual City of Cypress Halloween Carnival from 6-9pm! This event includes Food, Game Booths, Prizes, Entertainment, Costume Contests and Spook Alley. Admission- $3, children under 1 year old are free. Coming up Saturday, October 29, 2011 is the annual Memory Walk (Cal State Fullerton).The Memory Walk is part of a national movement to help those battling Alzheimer's and related memory loss disorders. As one of the largest Memory Walks in the country, it features a 2-mile walk, Kidz Zone, Doggie Dugout, Remembrance Garden, Food Vendors, Festival Area with over 50 exhibitors, live entertainment and more! This Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 9 – 4 is the Wings, Wheels and Rotors Expo (Joint Forces Training Base).A great mix of civilian and military helicopters and aircraft, plus a custom car show featuring classics, muscle cars and more than 300 varieties plus a vendor fair with more than 100 exhibitors selling food and car or aircraft related items. This family event also has games, a kid’s corner and live entertainment.

LA PALMA
Coming up Monday, October 31, 2011 from 6 - 8:30pm is the annual Halloween Carnival! This safe, family-oriented alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat features a fabulous COSTUME CONTEST for ghouls and boys with special prizes in each age division! This year’s Halloween spookfest will feature CARNIVAL GAMES, a “GOBLIN GULCH” for children under the age of 5, and a haunted area. This is a free event and will be cancelled if it rains. TOMORROW, October 15, 2011 is the annual The Heritage Festival and Parade (Tri-City Park, 2301 N. Kraemer Blvd.). Since 1965, this celebration of the city's heritage includes a parade and fair booths. The festivities begin with the Chamber of Commerce pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m. followed by the parade and band review at 9:30 a.m. The festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and will feature many exciting activities for the entire family including the annual car show, a crafts fair, food booths, kid’s games and more. NEWPORT BEACH

Going on now, Gray Whales migrate annually along the west coast of North America. They can be seen from the Orange County coast from December through early April. NOW through October 31, 2011 opening at 10am is the Irvine Park Railroad - Pumpkin Patch! Irvine Park Railroad's 5th annual pumpkin patch is fun for the entire family! The pumpkin patch opens daily at 10:00 am beginning September 17th through October 31st. Activities include train rides, hay rides, a haunted house, a hay maze, pony rides, a moon bounce, panning for gold, face painting (weekends only), picture stands, the Orange County Zoo, and a lot more.
